SOUTHERN XTREME is comprised of singers from the pueblo
tribes of New Mexico that include Cochiti, Santa Ana, Santo
Domingo, and San Felipe. Our Dedication & Respect for our
drum has taken us near and far in traveling the powwow
circuit, from hosting to contesting and from small social
powwows to large gatherings we carry ourselves with high
respect for our drum and others within the powwow circuit.
Although we are a more contemporary style Southern Drum we
continue in the ways of tradition singing, Gourd Dance, War
Mother, Veteran, two-step, and inter-tribal songs, as well
as appropriate songs for Southern Style dance categories.

OF SINGERS FROM THE MESCALERO TRIBE. WERE BARELY STARTING TO
GET OUT THERE ON THE POW WOW TRAIL. WE GOT OUR NAME FROM THE
T-SHIRTS "FIGHTING TERRORISM SINCE 1492." THE WAY WE LOOK AT
POW WOW IS THERE IS AND NO GREATER OR BETTER PERSON OUT
THERE AN EVERYONE IS ALL EQUAL. WE WELCOME EVERYONE TO ENJOY
OUR SINGING. WERE JUST OUT THERE TO MAKE POSITIVE IMPACT
ON POW WOW TRAIL AN WERE ALWAYS THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING AND
EVERYONE ON THIS WORLD.
